Song of the week: week 14.

This week I’ve struggled to pick just one song so I’ve gone for two…

The first is Macklemore and Ryan Lewis’ “Thrift shop”. I’m probably a little late on the uptake of this one but I adore it! I know I don’t look, or sound, cool when I sing along to it in my car but in my head I look unbelievably hipster. I love the edgy tune and I love the ridiculous lyrics and I love the connotations of this song and the memories that I’ve already made relating to this song.

The second is Lady Gaga’s “The Edge of Glory”. I’ve always been a secret Gaga fan since the first time I heard her during a GCSE geography revision session. This song is just the right amount of upbeat, punchy and sing-your-heart-out feel good wonderfulness!

Later I’ll be showing you a preview of my Maxxie review (yeah, I’m still doing that…) and this week I hope to post a controversial look at bisexuality and a video about my comedy progressions. Have a good day everyone! πŸ™‚

  1. My human mommy LOVES “Thrift Shop.” When she first heard it, she looked up the lyrics and read them to my human daddy. Hilarious. She thinks she may be the only fifty-year-old Caucasian woman who cranks this song in the car every single time it is played!
